A Fantasia of Dark & Elegant Art

I’m Elizabeth Eleanor Davis, a visual artist from Orlando, Florida. I’ve always been “artsy” in one form or another, whether writing my own stories, or sketching comic book characters instead of paying attention in math class. I have some formal art and art history education, but am largely self taught. I began painting in 2012 on a whim and was instantly hooked. By 2013 I was participating in my first juried show. Since then I have had work shown in galleries, art bars, museums, private events, and in music spaces across Central Florida, in the midwest, and most recently out in California with clients across the US, Canada, and the UK.

My art is a reflection of my travels, inspirations, and aesthetics. Each piece has a personal connection to me. I enjoy contrast, drama, rich color, curves, and movement. I love art museums, wildlife, brooding music, tragically flawed characters, and every now and again a good dash of whimsy. These elements often comes across in my work. In addition to painting, I keep busy with freelance writing, creative consulting, prop fabrication, and moonlight as DJ under the moniker V01D4o7, spinning mostly new music from all goth and goth adjacent subgenres. I share my beautiful home with the love of my life, husband Geoffrey, and best dog in the galaxy, Ms. Zelda Gezang, where I love to decorate, spin records, and collect WAY too many houseplants.
